Orro's company appeared on the vastness of the Russian market quite recently, but in its homeland in China it is already a proven brand that has taken a leading place among smartphone manufacturers. The exact date of the appearance on the market of the new Oppo F11 Pro model has not been announced, this is still a secret and adds a lot of intrigue to the rumors around the new device. The presentation of the device was supposed to happen in late February - early March.

About company

Orro's fame did not come immediately. It had to go a long way in 15 years from a little-known company that produced simple audio devices to a popular brand, whose smartphones are sold in huge numbers on the widest market platforms in the world. During this time, the company's devices have repeatedly sounded loudly with their distinctive features, novelties on the market, among the achievements: the thinnest phones that came out among the first, the first device with a rotating camera, the latest technology for fast-charging batteries.

Now it's time again to draw attention to yourself and surprise with another zest. This time, the innovation will affect the front camera of the Oppo F11 Pro smartphone, which will gain the ability to slide out.

Appearance and main characteristics

Externally, the new smartphone from Orro does not have any features. The front panel is a virtually bezel-less screen with the exception of a small indent at the bottom of the front side. The "back" of the device is a bearer of color, of the possible colors, only one variant is known so far - Glacier Blue or glacier blue. There is also evidence that two more colors are possible - thunder black (thunderous black), aurora green (bright green). In the center is a fingerprint scanner and a dual main camera along with a flash. The main feature and novelty at the same time is the retractable front camera, which smoothly "slides out" in the center of the body above the screen when you need to take a picture. It was this function that freed the front panel from the top margin of the frame and gave the Oppo F11 Pro elegance and mystery.

The body of the smartphone is completely monolithic, this is facilitated by the applied 2.5D glass, which smoothly goes into the body, creating a rather strong integral structure.

Oppo F11 Pro smartphone display

Display - LTPS IPS LCD, capacitive touchscreen. The use of an LTPS matrix allows you to reduce power consumption while increasing the pixel density (ppi). The IPS LCD matrix allows recognition and transmission of 16 million colors and shades, while maintaining the quality of their reflection on the entire surface of the screen, the same in all viewing angles. Viewing corner areas is clear, color reproduction and contrast are high.

The diagonal is 6.5 inches (this is approximately 103.2 cm2). The ratio of the area of ​​the entire display to the body of the smartphone is about 84.1%. The frames are very thin, except for the bottom edge, this creates an additional visual effect of increasing the size. If we talk about pixel resolution, then with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9, this parameter is 1080 x 2340 pixels with a density of ~ 397 ppi.

The dimensions of the smartphone are 161.3 * 76.1 * 8.8. Based on this, we can say with confidence that the screen size is more than comfortable for the eyes during operation. Lighting does not affect image quality. The picture is equally high quality without grain in normal light and in bright sunlight.

Orro likes to surprise with unusual things. This time, it was the cameras of the device that became the main highlight.

The front camera at first glance is completely invisible, because it is not visible from the outside of the body. In this model, the function of a retractable periscope of the camera is applied at the top of the case at its very center. Its 16 megapixel resolution with 1.0 µm pixel size means crisp, accurate images in both photo and video applications.The platform's video encoder improves the quality of any video calls, even with poor internet speeds. The connection no longer affects the image when communicating on Skype, Facebook and other messengers. Speed ​​has no effect on YouTube videos. Thanks to the MediaTek Helio P70 processor with its super artificial intelligence, the face is recognized with up to 90% accuracy.

The main camera is also pleasing: a dual video unit of 48 and 5 megapixels, combined with excellent instant focusing and tenfold zoom, which does not even have the slightest distortion of the picture.

This model of Orro is already rightfully called a photo smartphone because of the capabilities of its cameras.

There is a fast battery charging and this is an additional convenience when you do not need to wait several hours for the charge to reach the maximum level.
