Fujifilm X100T digital camera review

Fujifilm X100T digital camera review

At the moment this camera has the best functionality among other digital cameras. The camera is equipped with an APS-C sensor with a standard Bayer array of pixels. Hybrid autofocus combines contrast and phase focusing methods. Over the entire area of the frame, 91 focusing points are located, with 35 points of the central area using the phase method, and the autofocusing of the contrast type located at the edges.

Main technical characteristics

There is a face detection function and eye focusing. ISO sensitivity range is 200-12800 units. Although the manufacturer raised the maximum sensitivity level - up to 51,200 units in ISO-equivalent, this can immediately be attributed to nothing more than a marketing gimmick.

The body of the camera is made in a minimalist style with a design for classic film cameras. Anodized aluminum top panel with a choice of three colors: classic black, dark silver and gold. The rest of the case is made of soft plastic, which will not withstand even one fall to the floor. It also scratches easily. But the manufacturers gave the owners of a wide palm a bonus: the set includes a plastic pad that increases the grip.

The top panel contains the main controls for shooting settings and a shoe for connecting additional devices (flash, external microphone, video light). A flash is hidden above the lens; its power is sufficient for most typical scenes.
